Pastry Chef

Following our successful opening this year, Cheal’s Restaurant Knowle is recruiting for a pastry chef to join our talented kitchen team.

Working for a highly trained and award winning Head Chef you will work on the dedicated Pastry Section with help from a Commis and prepare food for our A la Carte, Tasting Menu & Afternoon Tea.
– 4 day working week, Wednesday to Saturday
– 3 days off including Sunday!

The Role
– Reporting to the Head Chef you will run the pastry section
– Design and create new desserts for our ever changing seasonal menus
– Able to multi skill in the kitchen during busy periods
The Person
– Previous experience in a high end kitchen, ideally to AA rosette level or above
– Currently a pastry chef
– Able to work unsupervised and train younger team members
– Good attention to detail
– Steady career showing progression
