We offer a fabulous 2 course afternoon tea served on Fridays and Saturdays. Each course is lovingly prepared by our in-house pastry team, using traditional ingredients. Choose from nine different teas, cocktails or a glass of prosecco or champagne, for a truly memorable occasion.

Afternoon tea was first introduced in the 1800s by the Duchess of Bedford. This became somewhat of a tradition, with higher-class people enjoying cups of tea with cakes and sandwiches in the mid-afternoon before dinner time. Tea drinking was also a fairly new introduction to English culture, and was not easily accessible to everyone. In the summer months, ladies would enjoy afternoon tea in their gardens while wearing gowns and gloves to signify their wealth.
Nowadays, this tradition has carried on in regular households, with tea and biscuits being a very popular option for British people at any time of the day. The traditional afternoon tea which includes scones, cakes, sandwiches and pastries, with a variety of tea options is best enjoyed in establishments like ours as part of a celebration or to simply treat yourself and loved ones.
