We recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during weekends or special occasions, to ensure availability. Our full-service restaurant, known for exceptional British cuisine and recognised in the Michelin Guide, offers a comfortable and welcoming dining experience. When booking, please specify any dietary requirements or special requests so we can accommodate you accordingly.

A: We will require a credit card number to secure your booking at Cheal's Restaurant or Warren's Bar.  There is a cancellation fee of £50.00 per guest, if you cancel your booking with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Large parties – our largest online table is for a maximum of 6 guests, if you would like to make a reservation for a larger party then please call the restaurant on 01564 393 333 and we will be happy to accommodate where possible. However, as Cheal’s can be particularly busy during weekends, special events, and peak dining periods, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. If you would like to dine with us at short notice, please contact the restaurant and we will do our best to accommodate you.

A: We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or amend your reservation, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Reservations that require a deposit or pre-payment may be subject to specific cancellation terms, which will be confirmed at the time of booking. For private dining, events, and exclusive hire bookings, separate cancellation policies may apply. Please contact our team directly if you need to make any changes to your reservation.

Depending on your party size, we can offer tables within the restaurant, our exclusive Private Dining Room for up to 16 guests, The Terrace for larger gatherings, or exclusive hire options for private events. Group menus and bespoke dining packages may also be available. We recommend contacting our team directly to discuss your requirements and ensure we can create the perfect experience for your group.
